good grief

so i went to sleep last night thinking about all of the things i think about. i welcome information about these thoughts.
in the middle of the night i awoke with simply this sentence.

"woe unto him who takes bitter for sweet, bad for good.." a biblical reference certainly.

today, i pondered this. wondering if it meant that i was not undertanding the cosmic implications i have been expounding upon correctly. or if it was a clear implication of the cultural disgrace the current milieu finds itself within, and many of america's children to boot. my son for example, who thinks it is ok, at 13, to talk trash, to get even, and who seems to want most in life to be the ultimate playah...

the mack daddy..

i resonate with this, and later, fortgetting about it til now, i have another discussion with him about his attitude and how i do not find it becoming of a young man. about respect and demeanor. about manners.

i cry in my heart as he seems deaf to the entire subject, as it seems he canb't quite grasp the reality of his pop cultural bubble.

then i open guenon's book the reign of quantity the signs of the times to this page:

the inversion of symbols.

more on that topic later...
